My mind is like a fortress

yerdsunite: Last night I could barely sleep, but when my adviser and I opened the first box, we both melted with happiness. Just to see how far my staff had come from camp when we made a theme board to an actual 300 page publication was absolutely amazing.  I mean sure, I found another typo in the colophon (whoops) and some photos didn’t turn out how we anticipated, but it’s beautiful and it’s ours and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

yerdsunite: Confession: There are two typos in my colophon. And chances are that there is one error or one thing you wish you would have done differently on every single page in your book. But you know what? No one could have made your book as well as you did. Obviously there will be mistakes. Every time I look at spreads that have been sent, I find mistakes and you can bet that at least 3 people read the final version before each spread was sent. Hate to break it to you, but nothing and no one is perfect. It’s worth striving for, but something could have always been done differently.   submitted by www.ohheyitsshanaj.tumblr.com
